FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • You could easily spend 200+ hours preparing an investor-grade presentation deck; however, this is time you should be spending building your team, product, distribution channels, and customer base. In addition to our expertise in preparing your materials, we offer independent, third-party insights into your model, and may raise questions that you might not have thought to ask.

  • We use a combination of Google Slides' convenient text box flag (in the top right corner) and once your deck is more polished we switch to Dropbox’s intuitive comment tracking feature. You just click on the link we share and comment with your precise feedback on any specific word(s) or image(s). You can always email us too!

  • Of course not. Run swiftly away from anyone who guarantees anything like that. A good pitch deck is essential, but your pitch deck alone will not secure funding. We do our best to elevate, mentor, and refine your pitch, but only you control how you present yourself and handle any objections.

  • If you run a growth-stage business, YES. In fact, you likely need more than one deck: one for vision, tech roadmap, and planning; one for raising capital; and one for sales/business development. We specialize in developing all three of these, and there are great efficiencies in taking an internal vision deck and adapting that strategic vision for investors and sales targets to help you achieve your goals.

  • No, we are strategy consultants, not investors.

  • Most clients pay us up front to kick-off a project and we invoice them for additional modules as we continue working together. All payments are due in full before the final files are released to you. We accept credit cards, ACH wires, Zelle payments, or checks.

  • Our industry expertise includes fintech, healthcare, media, SaaS, beauty/skincare, CPG, retail, adtech, and hardware, but we take pride in our ability to learn the fundamentals of any industry rapidly. That said, our real value is not industry expertise — which your team has in abundance — but rather a knowledge of what makes customers convert and investors invest.

  • Unfortunately, this is not an option. We require payment in U.S. dollars. We aim to be flexible on payment terms where possible but we cannot release final working files until paid in full for the project.

  • Yes, but we charge an "Expedite Fee” of 15% to do so. We work on multiple projects at a time, and rush projects can strain our schedules or inconvenience other clients.. So yes, you can jump the line, it just costs money.

  • Only if you’re always right. One of our jobs is to help you avoid mistakes. We’ll boldly challenge your ideas and assumptions so that you’ll be ready for the tough objections investors throw at you.

  • Absolutely.
